At the Watson Hunting Camp we have been running guided whitetail deer hunts around the Lac Qui Parle Refuge since 1996. Our private properties offer prime deer hunting terrain including everything from flat western Minnesota prairies to deep river valley ravines along the Minnesota and Chippewa Rivers. Each year some of the biggest bucks harvested in Minnesota come from our area- we are known for our big corn fed bucks!
During your hunt we offer First Class Accommodations at the Watson Hunting Camp, transportation to and from our permanent blind stands that are scouted and pre-set in prime locations for the upcoming season and which can be heated if needed. Our guides will also help track and field dress your deer as well as get it out of the field and back to the camp. We also have a local butcher available as well.

We offer three shotgun season packages for our Minnesota whitetail hunters. Again all packages include lodging at The Watson Hunting Camp. In 2011 we had 100% success with 9 hunters harvesting 9 deer. We would like to make sure our hunters realize that we do not promote this as a trophy caliber whitetail hunt although there is a good chance a 135+ class deer at any time.
